Update: Farm


added weathervane & window on the barn. also added a silo in the background. gonna add some kind of plow in the front corner of the barn.

Medieval Torch

3d max measuring unit says it's 10 ft tall. made it for project working with friends. added an omni light to represent the flame, also added sky light to give dramatic feel. not done.
Done in 3D Max.

update: Farm

tweak with door size, made them bigger. added window frame above doors with decor on both sides on the window. made roof front top edge stick out more. beginning to create a weather vane on the roof.

change wall color. add table/drawer w/ a lamp to the side. tried out new color kitchen cabnett. think it might be final color choice. need to add faucet for sink. add stuff on fridge door. will render other angles soon.

Update: Raft




re-tampered w/ lighting, before it was too dark w/ oddly a hint of strong red light. also had double shadows. found out I has 2 lights from different directions. water was also to damn dark. so I swith lights for daylight system. work w/ the water levels(color, reflectivity, glossiness & if its too clear). also added random movement to the rope on the raft. threw in a lifesaver in there, might rework the tileing on it again. what do you think?

took off textures originally had, they were just bad. slap on a simple white on all the objects including the ground. also add a fence since last time. will texture soon. just, hardly had any time.

been busy with trying to ready for final wwek, barely been able to catch-up w/ old work. open this one up and re work it alttle. change textures for counter, wood paneling may seems too dark. walls to plain, going to unwrap them & texture a wall color pattern. add something along the side of counter, open area not good. why the hell is the cereal box blurry? anyone know?

Update: Cell

decided not to add the scratching/writing on the door, began to get a little complicated. add a touch of rusting-off red on sledgehammer against wall. before it felt like it blend right into the floor. does door seem plain? suggestions?

been told before office look a little too bland & clean. added 3 cardboard file boxes on ground. also added a desk lamp on the desk. does it still seem too clean? should I add more?

Update: Knife



took off logo on blade wasn't happy w/ it. try adding blood to the blade. what do u think? also did just a bit of tweaking w/ lighting.

There's some weird crunchiness happening in my render. I circled them. Thought it was the final gathering, but no matter how much I tweak it, it doesn't change. If anyone has suggestions, please speak up.

changed the knife blade & handle texture. added background. need to fix lighting to black handle won't blend w/ shadows. suggestions? gave knife name 'GEKKO KNIFE'. feels like I'm almost done.

Started texuring house & patio. Not thier final textures, I just applyed it to see how it looks. No bump applyed yet. Little fuzzy/blur cause of low final gathering. If you didn't notice, flag torn & little burn around the edges.

Update: Swamp House



tweak up the lightin, went from nighttime to daytime. finishing modeling more misc. objects scattered around the deck. gotta start texturing soon, project due in 2 weeks. let me know what you think so far? didn't get a chance to render 2 other camera angles place in the scene.

Update: Office




these are new render of the 'office' enviorment, I was tweaking w/ the lighting for a while now. I think I've come to a lightinf I'm pleased with. what do you think? still nee to texture computer & light fixure on desk table. I'm not sure about the floor; kinda like it, kinda don't. I do'nt know. Also 1st render show close-up of drink tray w/ cups, ice bucket & bottle or rum. Gotta fix the noise on that render.

Swamp House



This is an early pre-viz of a 'Swamp House' [house floating out in the middle of the swamp]. Think Redneck meets a Boathouse. The plane below is suppose to stand-in as where the water level reaches. Done in MAYA.

Right now just working on lighting & finishing up texturing. Also adding a few things here & there, to make it feel more like an actual office. Using 3D MAX.

I took off the light bulb(omni light) & replace it w/ a Daylight System. Replace cup of water w/ a bucket of pee. Added some rocks in the corner as rumble. Also, added writing on the right wall.
